Dear Colleagues,

We are in the process of coming up with a volume titled Cognitive Radio Network Based Internet-of-Things for 6G Smart City to be published by Springer (proposal is initially communicated, awaiting for final approval) in the middle of 2022.

The trend of cognitive IoT, edge computing, is playing a critical role in implementing the spectrum management capabilities of 6G and ensuring the success of 6G-enabled smart cities systems. AI-based techniques are critical to support various innovative but bandwidth-hungry applications for smart cities, e.g., enhancing road safety, enabling smart and green transportation, location-dependent services, in-vehicle Internet access, and being a promising technological direction for alleviating traffic congestion and improving road safety for autonomous driving.

This volume focuses on detailed insight about AI and cognitive computing are two cornerstone technologies that enable 6G-based smart cities to enhance the quality and performance of urban services.

Topics (not limited to the followings):

  1. Role of CR-IoT in 6G Smart City
  2. Spectrum Management issues
  3. Improvement of Smart City components
  4. Role of AI/ML in 6G Smart City
  5. Security Aspects of Smart City

Interested authors and contributors are requested to send their participation consent with Chapter Proposals containing the chapter title, author details and abstract to criot6g.sc@gmail.com as soon as possible.

After receiving the final approval from the publisher, immediately inform the authors to submit the full chapter with other schedules.

Looking forward to your valuable contributions.

Best regards,
