Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming popular as an invaluable tool in neurological science. The field of AI with its subfields like Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Deep learning (DL) are very well suited to address these challenges, and present effective systems for identifying as well as predicting various ailments. This book would focus on how neurosciences can benefit from these advances in AI especially in areas like medical image analysis for the improved diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease, early detection of acute neurologic events; prediction of stroke, medical image segmentation for quantitative evaluation of neuroanatomy and vasculature, diagnosis of Parkinson’s, autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy and brain tumours.

7. AI in Neurorehabilitation
8. Chatbot / Expert system for Neurological disorders
9. AI in outcome prediction of Neurological diseases
10. AI in Neurological emergency and neurocritical settings
11. Role of AI in improving the quality of life in Neurological disorders
12. AI replacing clinical examinations and diagnosis
13. Case studies involving use of AI/ML/ DL in detecting/ predicting/ classification of neurological disorders.

Publication Schedule:
The tentative schedule of the book publication is as follows:
• Proposal submission (title + brief abstract + TOC): November 20 , 2020
• Proposal notification (accept/Reject): November 25, 2020
• Deadline for full chapter submission: December 30, 2020
• First round notification: February 10, 2021
• Camera-ready submission: February 25, 2021
